Regular heat presses (apart from High Frequency welders) are the most commonly used tools for splicing thermoplastic conveyor belting. The process can sometimes be challenging. Limited control of the thermoplastic material flow with thinner belt types can lead to pinholes and air bubbles in the belting material.
