Punching fingers at belt ends is done as a preparation before splicing. The splice can be a finger- or a finger-overlap-finger splice. All punchers are suited to punch fingers for both types of splice.
The portable punchers are suited for on-site jobs because they can be taken apart very easily. The workshop punchers are meant for frequent use in the workshop. They can be placed on the workbench or on an optional trolley for mobile use in the workshop.
