This machine is meant to cut in between the plies of a conveyor belt, an operation that is often required as a preparation before splicing a belt. The main advantage of the very accurate PLY 130 is that it splits as deep as 130mm at once, a big advantage when splitting very thin conveyor belts or when the material is difficult to cut, like thin PU conveyor belts.

Capable of splitting thicker conveyor belts

The PLY 130 is able to split thin conveyor belts but because of its robust construction thicker conveyor belts are not a problem as well. And if you need a foil in the exact colour of the conveyor belt you are gong to splice, use the PLY 130 to make it!

2 versions - For workbench use and with a stand
The splitter is available in 2 versions, the PLY 130 WB, this is the workbench version and the PLY 130 SA splitter which has its own stand, thus increasing access ability and versatility.

PLY Seperator - ease to operate

With only one handle you determine where you want to split your conveyor belt. You can split between every layer of the conveyor belt, so two or three separations are possible. Herewith you can prepare finger over finger splices and stepped splices

Control of the splitter

The splitting machine is provided with one electrical switch for on, off and reversed operation, a foot pedal controls the splitting operation. This makes it safe and convenient. The operation can be started and stopped, while both hands remain free to handle the conveyor belt.
